William Wainwright
Professor William Wainwright is distinguished professor of philosophy at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He teaches courses on ethics, aesthetics, political philosophy, and philosophy of religion, and his research is concentrated on philosophy of religion and on seventeenth and eighteenth-century philosophical theology (especially Jonathan Edwards). He is the editor of Faith and Philosophy, a premier journal in philosophy of religion, and his publications include the widely read Philosophy of Religion; Reason and the Heart; and the edited volume Philosophy and Academic Culture.
