Varsha Joshi
Varsha Joshi is a fellow at the Institute for Development Studies, Jaipur, and honorary fellow at the Institute of Rajasthan Studies, Jaipur. Her publications include Polygamy and Purdah; Women and Society Among Rajputs, and, most recently, Multiple Histories: Culture and Society in the Study of Rajasthan, which she co-edited with Lawrence A. Babb and Michael Meister. Her current work focuses on the impact of globalization on the traditional crafts and gender issues within this context.
