Ines Talamantez
Ines Talamantez is Professor of Religious Studies at University of California at Santa Barbara. Coming from an Apache background, she is a leading expert on Native American Religions, and her areas of research include women in religion, religion and ecology, and healing and religion in Native America. She has published numerous articles and books on Native American religious practice, including "In Space Between the Earth and the Sky" in Native Religions and Cultures of North America: Anthropology of the Sacred; Prayer of the Ticitl and Teaching Religion and Healing (co-edited with Linda L. Barnes).
