John Hick

Professor John Hick, a world renowned authority on religious pluralism, is Danforth professor of the philosophy of religion, emeritus, at the Claremont Graduate University in California; H.G. Wood professor of theology, emeritus, at the University of Birmingham, UK; honorary professor of the University of Wales, UK; a fellow of the Institute for Advanced Research in Arts & Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham in England; vice president of the British Society for the Philosophy of Religion; and vice president of the World Congress of Faiths. He has published 25 books, including Faith and Knowledge, Evil and the God of Love, Death and Eternal Life, God and the Universe of Faiths, God Has Many Names, and his monumental study, An Interpretation of Religion. His most recent books include The Fifth Dimension, which addresses the meaning of life.
