Gnyandev Patel, M.D. is founder and CEO of Neha Medical Group with offices in Long Beach and Bellflower. He is actively involved in a number of clinical trials to improve medical treatment and has sponsored health clinics at Hindu temples in Southern California and also several blood drives. Dr. Patel joined the Board of Directors of the Global Ethics and Religion Forum in 2003 and has chaired the conference series on medical ethics the Forum has presented in 2004, 2005, and 2006 in Southern California and at Cambridge University. He is also a member of the bioethics committees of St. Mary Medical Center and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

 

Dr. Patel has also played a key role in the Forum's documentary film series as a series consultant and is also actively involved in the the Los Angeles Indian Film Festival.  He is involved in a number of other community service programs as well, including “Love Humanity,” an organization providing loving homes for orphans in India; “976-Tuna,” a youth fishing program that provides opportunities for underprivileged inner-city youth to go fishing and to learn about marine life, and a wide range of other charities.  As the owner of Tandoor Indian restaurant, he has held benefit dinners for these and many other charities.
