
Seiji Yamada, M.D., M.P.H.
Seiji Yamada, M.D., M.P.H., is a Clinical Associate Professor of both Family Practice and Public Health at the University of Hawaii’s John A. Burns School of Medicine and an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Tropical Medicine and Medical Microbiology in the Division of Ecology and Health. He is also Deputy Director of Research and Development for the Hawaii Statewide AHEC Program. Dr. Yamada has expertise in globalization and human health and environmental epidemiology. He has done extensive research on ecology and health in the Marshall Islands, a primary site for U.S. ballistic and nuclear testing for over 50 years.
