Christopher Key Chapple, Ph.D.

 


Christopher Key Chapple, Ph.D., is a Professor of Theological Studies, and Associate Academic Vice President of International and Continuing Education Programs at Loyola Marymount University, with particular expertise on the South Asian renouncer traditions of Yoga, Jainism, and Buddhism.  He is a founding member of the Forum on Religion and Ecology and has published widely in this field, including Nonviolence to Animals, Earth, and Self in Asian Traditions (1993), Hinduism and Ecology (2000), Jainism and Ecology: Nonviolence in the Web of Life (2002) and Reconciling Yogas (2003).
